취안숑

1972년 중국 청도에서 태어난 취 안숑은, 역사 속에서 얻은 영감과 수묵화를 연상시키는 고전적 방식으로 현대사회에 대해 이야기하는 애니메이션 작가로 잘 알려져 있다. 작가는 1994년 사천예술대학에서 수학 후, 견문을 넓히기 위해 1997년 독일로 건너가 카셀 미술대학에서 6년 동안 회화를 전공하였다. 그 동안 서로 다른 두 문화권의 사회적 환경에서 얻은 경험은 작가가 자신을 뒤돌아보고 더나아가 중국을 새롭게 보는 아주 중요한 계기가 되었다.
